Naija Girl Tribe was founded in 2016 with a successful workshop at Global International College in Lekki, Nigeria.  We treated this as a foundational trip, meeting and working with 100+ girls (ages 9 to 18) over the course of 1 week. In 2017, Global International College invited us back for a subsequent visit. During this trip, we expanded to Mind Builders High School in Ikeja, Nigeria where we held workshops for 70+ girls ages 12-15.

Our workshops were so impactful that administrators of both schools invited us back for subsequent school terms, referred us to additional schools that would benefit from our programming, becoming our first partner schools.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, we’ve shifted to virtual programming, with plans to return to Nigeria as soon as it’s safe to do so. (2021)

We are also in the process of launching the first NGT Womxns’ Empowerment Panel, featuring speakers and panelists at the top of their respective industries.
